Grand Canyon

Left Laughlin @7:30am and drove straight to the Grand Canyon. It took about 3 hrs. It was about 90 degrees but felt like more. We went in the park from the 64 East and took the Desert view staying to the East. We stopped at a lot of the view points. 

We drove a bit more and stopped at the Desert View Point @ 7438 ft. There is also a Watchtower where you can go up to the top. It's a steep climb but had great views!

We stopped a couple more times at views and then left the park to Flagstaff. 

100 degrees @ 5000ft. 

We've gotten a few sprinkles on the 64 East. 

The clouds are really cool right now. You all know I like clouds & trees! :)

I guess we're heading to Albuquerque today still. It's 3:20pm. I need a shower and a meal. The life of a road trip!
